Re:Bakken Shale - 2008/07/07 09:49 pm I have been looking at the Baaken range in particular Marathon Oil of Canada who has bought a company operating in the Baaken range. That gives them a US presence.

What I have found is that almost all of the companies operating in that range areprivately owned Wild Cat operations. The one you mention is one of a rare kind.

I think you are on the right track though to invest in that area. I will be interested how it develops. I have no investment in that area so far but most likely will in the near future.

Crap, So now they charge 10 cent more per gallon using a credit card? Who carries around $100 bills to fill up their 25 gallon SUV/Truck tanks?
