BLLB:What Can You Say ,No News - 2008/08/28 03:52 pm New page.I`ll repost my last post as I think it is a good topic.
I moved my funds from ERUC back into QMNM.They`ll soon be up to 2000 tons of coal per day.Even give their low quote of $86 per ton months ago before coal went up its 3.4 million bucks per month. The day they announce Gwenco coming out of chapter 11 this thing will soar. They can pay a lot of debt with the kind of revenue they are starting to generate. When Cedar creek met coal comes on line it will generate the high dollar Met coal that goes for over $200 per ton.Im going to hang here for a while.Im expecting news soon.

Seriously, tell me why you believe in a strong military & also your definition of a strong military. Also I though the secretary of defense was more in charge of strategy.A president is suppose to be a administrator not a general.Generals arent very good at handling tax money or balamcing budgets the last I checked. They are always in a want for more money. You let a career military man handle the purse strings & the budget will be 90% military. So please explain this statement.I really dont care what your affiliation is.Money management is more common sense than anything else.Creative financing should be left to the subprime crooks.

Re:BLLB:What Can You Say ,No News - 2008/08/28 07:17 pm I just can`t believe Putin said this after I`d had alluded to the very same thing.

At a briefing Tuesday, the deputy chief of Russian military general staff, Col. Gen. Anatoly Nogovitsyn, showed off a color copy of what he said was a U.S. passport found in a basement in a village in South Ossetia among items that belonged to Georgian forces.

"We found a passport for Michael Lee White," Nogovitsyn said. "He's a Texan."

The U.S. Embassy in Georgia said it had no information on the matter.

Putin appeared to link claims of an American presence amid the combat with a potential domestic U.S. political motive.

"If my guesses are confirmed, then that raises the suspicion that somebody in the United States purposefully created this conflict with the aim of aggravating the situation and creating an advantage ... for one of the candidates in the battle for the post of U.S. president." Putin did not name a party or candidate.
Wonder which canidate he could possibly be talking about.More over wonder who would have the influence to engineer such a thing.

Congratulations. You win the brass ring.Still the best isn`t he.He told them.Fixing the budget & the economy is mo problem.Just dont let the big man run the show, because he will rob the treasury.
No.Im not really that religious.I just believe in fair play & common sense.Im also not a pacifist either.I will use force for self defense if its absolutely necessary. The trick is not to let the situation escalate that far.

Re:BLLB:What Can You Say ,No News - 2008/08/28 07:27 pm Many other countries in other parts of the world had a scorching hot economy a couple years ago. Since we started having problems, the rest for the most part have followed. When you look at European countries real estate markets, they are almost all down 10% to 35%. Their stock markets have cooled off also.

My point is since they have slowed down, MAYBE our dollar can gain some traction? IF we start bringing troops home along with more and more equipment, jets, tanks, etc, that money can be spent around here (USA) maybe? I'm trying to be glass half full on this post and just hoping things can start turning around?

I spent 3 months in South Africa in spring of 2001. I watched a lot of the European/International CNN. You get a global view and not just a self serving view of this country alone like our news stations.

I learned that every stock market in the world at that time reacted off our market. Generally if we did good, the world did good and we had a bad week, they did also. It was really interesting how we set the tone for everyone else. Which makes me think as we went into recession, we dragged the rest with us to an extent. So our dollar might get its footing and start going back up and closing the gap somewhat? While other denominations get weaker?

Think about all the companies that shut down here and moved overseas. Lets think about the fuel costs to ship those goods back here to America. Even though they are using cheap labor, are the shipping costs making it harder for them to make the same profits? I mean would some companies possibly consider coming back here and opening back up?

High Fuel/Oil costs could possibly help us in a round about way??? Sounds goofy, but maybe not so goofy. I would love to hear Steves/HF opinion on this and anyone else, even my buddy Pollie!

Rayyy you take out the garbage and then get me an icy diet coke, hurry up slacker!

Re:BLLB:What Can You Say ,No News - 2008/08/28 07:37 pm I believe in prevention.Once the first angry word is spoken it can`t be taken back.Once the first blow has been delivered in can not be taken back.Once the first life is taken,it can not be given back.Once the violence has started there are no winners. If you think there`s a winner ,you haven`t examined it deep enough.I have seen good friends & children & parents spend a life time apart because someone could not exercise control, they thought that violence or rude behavior was the only course of action.Sad.We should not be led by hot heads or people of the militia.Militia has been trained to think & act in only one mind.Might is right. If you want something done right,do it yourself. If you cant do it yourself, either do without or get used to mediocracy.

Re:BLLB:What Can You Say ,No News - 2008/08/28 07:49 pm Is John McCain for or against NAFTA? For some reason I'm thinking he is for outsourcing jobs to get supposedly cheaper goods in return? I don't remember hearing him talk about this topic.

The present govt gives tax incentives to send factories/companies overseas. I think this happened under Bill Clinton and the Republican Congress. I wish we would reverse that and give them tax breaks to bring jobs back here, even if the goods cost us more. Make America strong again, although it would probably be at the hands of illegals. It is oh so true, the American employee on the average is a lazy critter. I constantly hear from business owners how no Americans want to work, but complain their starving/broke. You would think I could find real estate agents who want to work, I allow them 70% of whatever dough they bring in, they still don't want to work. Most brokers around here pay 50% commission, I give 70% trying to find a few hard working people to pay my office bills at least. Sux having to pay everything home and office. I understand why so many companies in America struggle, how many people show up on time, reliable, work hard, appreciative, hustle, responsible. Each generation gets softer and whimpier, that will keep getting worse I think.

Very good. One thing that a lot of people doesn`t consider about the out of country manufacturing wrink.Out fits like Nike for one could not compete in the global market if not for the cheap asian labor.Same with outfits like Mickey Ds & Walmart.Thats just a few.I know that higher wages look good at the time. But every time the wages go up so does everything else. Not long before they have leveled out to the same amount of goods for the same amount of labor.I dont know if people understand what Im saying but in effect the higher wages only hurt us in the global market, which in turn hurts our domestic labor efforts from lack of jobs.We can not make factories come back unless they can compete on the global market. Here`s an example.people in China making .50 per day can not affort a $2 cheeseburger. How do you think companies like coca cola can be as big in china as they are. They buy cheaper raw materials cheaper labor & cheaper real estate to manufacture. Then instead of reaching a market of 100 million in the USA or less they reach a Market of 600 million. Now they enjoy a bigger profit margin selling in china than they do manufacturing in the USA & selling in the USA.This is one of the reasons why they have relocated. Some is about cheap labor. This is especially the case if they are shipping the goods back here for resale, but that is not the case in a lot of companies. It about servicing a boarder & larger market.THE ANSWER TO FIXINC THIS PROBLEM IS VERY COMPLICATED.Sorry about the caps accidental.Anyway Nafta is one way of combating this in our hemisphere. It will take many years but will balance the trade &labor prices in years to come.
If you want something done right,do it yourself. If you cant do it yourself, either do without or get used to mediocracy.
