thar she blows - 2007/12/10 07:51 amFranklin Reports First Sales From Escala Franklin Mining, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: FMNJ) is today reporting their first sale at the Escala Mine. William Petty, Franklin CEO has announced that sales were recorded the week of December 3, 2007.
Mr. Petty also confirmed that mineral values reported in the Escala's initial studies appear to have been correct and are generating direct sales revenues of approximately $650.00US per ton. Both direct sales and deliveries for later processing will continue through December as the Escala builds toward full production.
"During the cleaning and preparation process, an estimated 450 tons was gathered and is available for direct sale or processing," Mr. Petty said. "As we continue our ramp-up, additional tons will become available. By the time our Escala managers have sold or processed all recovered product, a sizeable backlog of new product will have been mined from the two cleared and cleaned shafts."

But the real good announcement will be the starting of their original mine operations. I hope they can sell their interests in gas to oil, etc. At least they are keeping up with the financial reports and news items!

It will be several weeks before last year's financials come out and even then the recent processing may not have translated the recovery into hard cash, thought that will come. At least Cerro Rico is making some progress.
What this stock really needs is some PR. It has done all the right things to this point and is nominal in price compared to so many blue-sky ventures.

Escala got some attention. Notice the ac/dst line over the last few months and boom! Many stocks have similar patterns. Lets hope this year gets us caught up!!

I have beat the golden horse around these parts. not everyone is a believer in the miners. They will at far higher prices, imo! Just stick with it. I bought more Thursday and will again. I don't really think she has hit the radar yet. I have plenty of powder from WNBD and others for Franky!!!

FMNJ is up 100% from its long term low here, but, I have little respect for those day traders (not you) who got in there then and dump after just this little run up. I hope there is none like that. This is just getting started, and they are finding more good news all the time. Cerro Rico has not even started yet but should soon. FMNJ has little invested for their split interest and guaranteed income 100% until that investment is paid back. This should fall to the bottom line nicely for all of us this year. Why would you have little respect for a trader that follows his own investment strategy? If this thing popped to a dollar tomorrow, tell me you wouldn't take off some fat profits! ultimately it is each individuals responsibility for their own accounts. Don't be a hater when someone cashes out on profits, there will always be another buyer. Its when the buyers are selling short that you should have animosity.
