Re:thar she blows - GOLD !!! - 2008/02/19 12:08 pm Well this recent move and at least temporary price stability is nice. I'm still in the red overall for this stock, but this has certainly closed the gap.

Re:thar she blows/smiles - 2008/02/20 01:37 pm Either this week or next, FMNJ is supposed to gove their 4Q07 and/or 2007 fiscal results which include their start-up November/December 2007 production and sales figures from 400 tons of processing. Whether that will be "great" or not, FMNJ IS processing now and shows in firm financial figures the results they will get. 30000 oz of gold from phase one nearby in addition to the silver mine production translates into about $13,000,000.00. Not bad for a 50%leveraged company, and that is after they recover their investment in full. This stock should be at 10 cents minimum. Perhaps the road will be choppy going up, but the long term potential is there too. Comment? I have been long here for the past 18 months and it looks like blue skies ahead.

Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/02/29 08:11 pm Perhaps the financials will come out Monday. For my money, much better news came out late today. Immediate expansion of the silver mining which rates are up faster than gold. And very near term production of gold processed on the same site! Even Gold Corp is talking 3+ years in the Dominican Republic for their joint project !!!

Then --- Huh?

Either someone did not see the news or there is a fly in the ointment. After 35 years of investing, even I can spot market funiness when at no high price someone sells just before the good news has a chance to take effect. Regardless, the best offensive tool is to help promote whereever you can. Please pass it along. They are just getting started !

Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/02/29 11:19 pm Are talking about news from Gold Corp having a positive effect on FMNJ in someway or another, I am not sure I follow you?

Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/03/01 05:26 pm Just a comparison that FMNJ will be into gold years sooner that typical big gold company announcements like this one. Is anyone paying attention outside of us? I suspect that once the gold production gets started, they will find even more good reserves in the same locale.

Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/03/01 10:27 pm No worries, they will come at higher prices. If not in FMNJ most of the others. Can't buy-em all, can try though

Kinda funny how if you look, there are many miners breaking out over the last few days & weeks. A good sign, as the lag historically will cath up and surpass the physical metal prices. imo

Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/03/03 03:28 pm Dear Brent,

Which others are you hoping for a move?
  | | The administrator has disabled public write access.
Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/03/03 11:15 pm One that is moving that is spendy to me compared to the little guys, is CDE it is moving, FMNJ has come off the bottom, CALVF has started up again, SLGLF has broken it's lowering trend and still quite low. There are a bunch at there all time lows. I have been harping on this subject and most lost interest. The miners will go, there are a lot of us banking on it. A lot of us doesn't even come close to those that will be getting in at far higher prices, imo..

Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/03/04 07:45 pm Steve, Don't you follow the news? They are close to war with Coloumba. I don't think it will happen, but until this threat passes the FMNJ stock is going to be depressed.

Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/03/04 11:16 pm I am not sure I follow the logic in that the price will suffer from Venezuela and Colombia, South America close yes, yet still pretty far away from Franky. imo

Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/03/05 10:00 am Hi Brent, The logic is simply,"fear of the unknown".
The FARK rebal leader was killed inside Bolivia by Colombian army. Bolivia is allined with Venezuela,(Uncle Hugo).Ven.&Bol.put troops an the boarder with Col. and threaten war. I don't think anything will come of it,but you never know with crazy Uncle Hugo.
Anyway investors in Bol., in general, are taking a "wait and see" position until the dust settles. You know, fear of nationaization of industry, war, etc.. Uncle Hugo has his panties in a wad because he just gave FARK 300million to make trouble in COL. and Col. responds by killing FARK leader.
Hay shit happens.

Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/03/05 11:17 am The country that is having truble with Colombia, and has had it Historically is Ecuador, Capital Quito
Just check your maps
Bolivia shares no borders with Colombia
Im right here in Bolivia, Capital, La Paz
And have been to Colombia
Curently, Bolivia´s Prez is attending summit and suporting Peace negotiations between Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela, Colombia is 6th country in importance for Bolivian exports
Bolivia has declared itself a Pacifist country, and has no possibilities to wage war against anybody, their 5, yes, thats five, fighter jets are from the 50ties
They couldnt wage war against Colombias Boy Scouts if they wanted

Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/03/05 12:28 pm Dear Mike,

I read the news and could not find a hint of real uneasiness in there for Bolivia. The people in Bolivia are not the influential buyers in FMNJ. US and Europe are. Bolivia would have developed all these mines for themselves if they had the spare expertise, but they did not. This whole affair will affect oil, not gold. Bolivia NEEDS this money... they would have nationalized these mine areas long if serious.

I suggest we look elsewhere for the real reason, like manipulation. FMNJ is a long term gem, not a one week wonder. I have held them for 18 months, adding as I could. Compare FMNJ's price with all the "Promoted" companies that are years away from production !!!

Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/03/05 03:37 pm Steve&Freud, You have missed my point. It is not the facts that are driving this down turn in FMNJ,it is the RUMOR of unrest that causes investors, namely speculators, to sell and wait it out. Particulary forigen investors. One,two weeks and things should get back to normal.
I have been with FMNJ since 2002. I've seen this befor
As far as manipulation is conserned, I don't buy it. If that were the case it would be in the manipulators interist to cause a p/s rise.

Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/03/06 11:55 am Dear Mike,

Shareholders do want out obviously, but not because of Columbia/Hugo which does not affect Bolivia. There are few international investors in FMNJ. The company has just not promoted itself and the steam ran out for short timers wanting a quick buck instead long term big bucks. Only getting off the pink sheets and getting more investors will help this. There is plenty of good news and future here. Several weeks will not solve the problem as us long timers know. They must establish BIG reserves formally in print also which I hope the VP will do by April sometime. Until then, dropsy. I would rather partner with you to get some of the above done. Are you ready to go on the offensive?

Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/03/06 07:32 pm Steve,
You are ignoring the skidish nature of investors,IE, speculators. The threat of war effects the region and scares investors off. When I mentioned that it will pass in a couple of weeks I was refering to the effects of the threat.

I disagree that there are few international investors in FMNJ.This company dates back to the 1800 hundreds and has a long history of mining in the western USA.I have not checked it out but I believe most of FMNJ stock holders are USA, Brit., and Belg.,not domistic Bolv..That is what I meant by "forgin".

Fmnj has a huge net loss tax carry forward with the US IRS.This means that as they continue to increase review and profit they will buid working capital.

FMNJ has never"pumped" it's P/S, but has reported positivly on actual results.

Reguarding you partenership offer;I am always on the offensive, even when my posture is defensive. What is the outline of this partnership you perpose?

Re:thar she blows-huh? - 2008/03/07 12:43 pm Mike,

1. Continue to use/contact every board, newsletter or means to keep FMNJ in the listings, comments, etc. Ask others to join us!
2. Call, e-mail, etc. FMNJ directly and A.S. Austin to get off the pink sheets for better exposure AND perceptive quality so investors will investigate it. They think that good news will do it alone but we have long seen that exposure MUST accompany good news. They do no see the 15C211 nor OBB as a priorty any time soon. Yes, I agree that revenue and profits are most important, but these startup expenses will kill the bottom line for most of this year. Ugh!
2. Call, e-mail, etc. FMNJ directly to push for firm reserve $ estimates in each area for gold/silver, timely financials, etc. Money as well as management resources is holding up Cerro Rico in my conversatons with them. We HOPE (per a phone call) that they will issue reserve estimates in 3 weeks but nothing is guaranteed.

Most of the revenue from tonnage processing has been stockpiled from 2007 and will begin to show up for 1Q08 (around May?). $20 silver is nice as long as it lasts.

Any further ideas?

Yup. It is called capital gains. I purchased another 500,000 the last two days at these bargain prices. Like the near-term info? So, is it a deal?

Re:Best to Come... - 2008/03/13 08:57 pm Slow but interesting developments. Some estimates of reserves to come out. No revenue until 2Q08 as the metals have been stockpiled in order to have a steady flow big enough for metal brokers. FMNJ is hiring a promotion firm soon after all my nagging. Expanded production is on target.
Great !!
