Hello All!
A couple days ago I made the 'mistake' of trying Winning Colours on my floor tile grout. Of course, this being the great product that it is, it got it clean, in no time. So with a glance from my dear wife, I figured that this weekend, I would be giving Winning Colours a test.
So lets get started... her are a couple of before pictures.. The first is from the test spot, that got me into this honey doo project...
So as you can see, 8 or 9 months of unsealed floor tile grout can be pretty ugly. Here is another before picture... just before I begin.
So I got started, moved the table and chairs out of the way, had my 15 y/o to sweep, and got started. I poured the Winning colours straight from the bottle, following the grout lines, and scrubbed with a grout brush. Then I sprayed with water, from the spray bottle furnished with our samples, and scrubbed again with the grout brush. Then 1 more spray with the water, and I whipped dry with paper towels... So after a while my carpel tunnel hands started to hurt, so I tried to get my dear daughter to help, here is a picture of the 20 seconds she tried...
During the cleaning, I had to stop a few times and open the doors to air the room out. It is very strong smelling, and does require ventilation. It was not difficult to scrub, and it did a very effective job of removing the yuk. Once I finished, I mopped with water, generously getting it wet. There was still 'soapy bubbles' from the cleaner, so I had to mop a second time. All in all, I say it did a fine job, and the dear wife was impressed. Here are a couple of pictures in the after column.
I do intend to go back over any spots that seem to still be discolored, there are a few, but all in all, I think this product worked super. I have had to clean other grout before, and after trying several different chemicals, and hours of elbow grease, I still couldn't get it as clean as this product did with very little elbow grease. I will say, this is very strong. It has a very strong odor, and ventilation is necessary. Skin contact: I was on my hands and knees in this product, it does irritate the skin when exposed for a duration. It does not burn so much (a little) but more so a dryed out sensation. I did rinse my hands and feet with water, and that stopped the burning, so Im good with that. My wife suggests that an alternative smell be developed, perhaps orange. She did mention that she intends to add it to her daily mop water as a preventative, and I will be sealing the grout tomorrow.
Opinion: It is my opinion, that this company has developed a product that will out perform others in its field. When this product is available nation wide, I truly believe that it will give the 'big boys' a run for their money. It does out clean them, the question is, can WNBD market, and produce their products to ensure the customer satisfaction that will be key, to winning customers away from the big boys. I think they have the goods, and I have been impressed, so far, with this company. I am proud to be a shareholder, and plan to increase my position soon.

This will stop it from absorbing any more stains that should happen to fall on the floor. Remember that grout is porous. Get a good clear sealer from a local tile place, not Home Depot. UPDATE! As most of you know, I work for our county fire department. Recently, I received my sample kit from Lorne Kelly. Included in that package was the NEW product Clean 1. After coming in from a fire, we proceeded to clean our Engine with the product. We noticed that the Engine looked really great after the initial wash completed. Normally, we have to wash it twice to remove products of combustion, Smoke and fire gases add a significant problem with cleaning our apparatus. We only had to wash it once and it looked fantastic.
Additionally, After the Engine was cleaned, we decided to try it on the truck bay floors. We have three different bays and as you can guess, they collect all sorts of ugly oil stains, other products of combustion, etc. etc. After applying the Clean 1 product and added copious amounts of water. We let the product sit for 5 minutes, then started to rinse the bays. Miraculously, It lifted the oil and other nastiness right up and now we have better looking floors than ever. Usually, we have to use degreasers and many forms of detergents. The Clean 1 product did it in one pass.
I tink we have a winner here folks. Not only does the product work great, but our Beach station no longer adds to the pollutants on the ISLAND. Thanks again Mr. Kelly.
We have not used the Re-Guard product yet, but we are really looking forward to cleaning our gear Monday.

Just got off the phone with her, and her first question was ..where can I buy the product? I really like it. She said she was diluting it 10-1 for general cleaning and said it was plenty strong. Gave 2nd bottle to a painter friend of mine. We tested it (no dilution) on a nasty carpet stain and some primer paint that was on a bathroom counter. It got rid of the stain about 90%, and took off the primer off the counter top. So far so good as far as a positive response. What I like about this product is that it speaks for itself. No hype needed. Either it works or it doesn't. My friend knows someone who has a cleaning company with 300 employees. We are going to be giving him a sample to see what he thinks.

Good afternoon, Over my morning cup of coffee, I noticed how nasty the coffee pot was getting. We have tried several old time favorites (vinegar, ice with salt, etc.)to clean it, to no avail. So, I figured this would be a good trial for Winning Colours cleaner, and here is the documentation.

So here was my experiment. I chose to use 1 oz of Winning Colours cleaner, thinking the mixture would be about right.
Then added it to the pot, and filled the pot...
I think ran it through the machine, and checked the filter basket... it was much better, but still not clean, so I poured the mixture back through the machine for a second round. Better, so I rinsed the filter basket with the sprayer...
and checked it... much better. I was not satisfied as of yet, so I poured a little bit full strength into the basket, added a little water and swished it around. I let this set for about 5 minutes, then rinsed again. I took a paper towel and wiped the basket out. The result...
Then I wiped out the pot with the paper towel, and the result...
After wiping the machine down, and rinsing the tank out here is the result...
I rinsed the tank twice with clean water, and I have ran 4 pots of clean water through to make sure it was safe for tomorrows coffee. I am impressed! It took a little time, but that was mostly waiting on the machine cycle. Very little or no scrubbing was used, and the machine looks like new. Thank you Winning Colours, another success!

That was the first thing and pretty much all I can say about what is pictured below. You have no idea how many things we've tried using on this stain! It's been there for over 2 years and was from our dog. (We've covered it up with stuff since then)
This stuff alone is gonna fly and they have multiple products.

Some areas are wetter than others where the stain was really deep because I applied more there but I don't think I had to. Notice how the design is still there so it's not like it was bleached. The stuff really works. Amazing really. Someone else mentioned it but the stuff works so damn well that I have to clean the the rest of the carpet now. I think I'm gonna dilute it and rent a carpet cleaning machine.
Update: Now that it's dry it looks like the stain was never there at all. I have a few more stains in the same room from the dog. We've been looking to replace the carpet and now don't have to. The room is 36' x 15' - that's a lot of money that was just saved. I'm gonna price a new carpet this week and buy that amount of WNBD shares. No joke!

It prevented it from coming back longer then most products I'v tried. Even my neighbors are impressed they told the landlord about it. I guess with over 500 units he is going to buy in bulk.. Maybe I can get on the home distributor list and make some $$$ that way as well. Hey anything is possible so why not ask the company? Right?
