I've had a great time reading and posting here on Stockwire... the format has always been a user friendly one for me. i have always felt that this format was as close to a virtual room full of people that one could experience, hence it gave me a feeling of camaraderie that others sites never achieved.
Whenever information flows here, it is usually of a high caliber... and the post that were not stock related have been to my delight a mixture of the Sacred and the Profane, funny, poignant and many many times down right disgusting... thank you.
This new format that seems to be the future Stockwire, will in essence destroy for me that sense of community. With the existing format i can, on one page, scroll back and forth and read the news or laugh at a joke or two. It's always felt like moving through a crowd at a gathering with people of common interest. But this new format is a cold slap of reality... that, i am indeed, sitting alone in front of a computer and having to change the page reading one post at a time, making the experience (me) feel more disconnected from the group dynamics. The present format (many post one one page) has allowed me to quickly gather the information sharing and the the mood of the day, whether serious or frivolous, so i could move on with my own work or further investigate what is being discussed. my typing style is hunt and peck... i cannot /will not do that in my reading... having to change the page to read one post at a time and not have instant access to the previous posts so i may clarify the information/thought being presented, results in a time consuming effort, i have tied other sites with a similar format and they just don't work for me. So with all that said, if this is the future i thought i would thank everyone now... and say "so long it's been a slice" before i get lost in the new maze of Stockwire... ego The moments of happiness we enjoy take us by surprise.
