Re:BLLB--Labor Day Weekend - 2008/08/30 05:13 pmI believe HF was speaking in terms of pro & con.When the cons outweigh the pros,it has the effect to make one form a negative opinion.I have to look at this in a different light.If it were Palin vs Obama,who would be the better canidate.Or if it was Biden vs McCain who would be the better canidate.Either of these scenerios could come to past.There always a good chance that either VP could become the president.On the other note.Law is not a guarrantee of personal freedom or personal safety.I`ll relate a name to you that is a personal friend of mine.I have known his whole family since I was a kid.This man sit on death row for two years & another 7 yrs in isolstion from the prison population.When he was finnally release a few years after his momma went to her grave they gave him a whole $340,000.Not much money considering having your named smeared as a rapist & murderer of a 10yr old girl.Had it not been for the development of DNA testing several years after his conviction & the integrity of some evidence not being destroyed(lucky),he would still be sitting in jail.His name is Kirk Noble Bloodsworth.I have talked to him many times since his release.Had it not been for his dads relentless vigil of persuing his innocence it would have been worse.There are a few good law men,but they are rare now days.The most are worried about looking like bad asses or the bad boys.If you want something done right,do it yourself.If you cant do it yourself,either do without or get used to mediocracy.
