2007 has come to a close and a lot of things have changed at Stockwire this past year.
We have grown exponentially and have added some incredible new features on the website that have helped to create a very large community of Micro Cap investors. We believe that by the end of 2008, we will be the largest Micro Cap website on the net and one of the largest communities on the net for investors.
We are currently in the top 10 investment websites in the US and we are steadily climbing our way up to the #1 spot. We started the year with an Alexa rank of around 700K and today we stand at 38K. (Click here to learn about Alexa rank) Our goal was to get in the top 100K sites in the world by the end of 2007 and we ended up blowing way past that goal. We have achieved this by listening to our members request and executing them in a timely manner.
Our mission is two fold at Stockwire. We want to be the largest investment community on the internet for investors and at the same time, be able to find you great ideas in the Micro Cap arena. We are trying to find quality Micro Cap companies long before the show up on the radar screens of Wall Street money managers.
We are always trying to improve our selection process and in order to do so, we have to look back on past mistakes, define them, then eliminate them. We have spent many hours going over our selection process and we feel that 2008 will be one of our most successful yet!
We have already come across 3 emerging growth companies that have blown us away and we will be bringing them to you during the first quarter of 2008.
On a side note, there is something we would like to ask of our members. In this type of investment environment, it is essential that you consistently work on your trading skills. We have a very educational tutorial called “How to prepare for a trade”, which you can find by CLICKING HERE.
We urge you to watch this tutorial more than once and to really take note of it. The techniques taught in this tutorial are vital to achieve consistent success in the markets. This doesn’t guarantee success, but it puts you on the offensive, versus the defensive.
