Mexoro Minerals (MXOM) drill results dissected PDF Print E-mail
guazaparez, mexoro minerals, mxomWe have received many email requests this morning asking about what today’s press release means for all current shareholders. Well, unless you are a licensed geologist, then you probably have no idea what any of it means. That is just fine, because earlier today, I spoke with both Mario Ayub and Bob Knight, Mexoro’s COO and President, about today’s news and what it means for the company.

Needless to say, they were both extremely happy with the results of the Guazaparez drilling program.

So here is what happened at the Guazaparez property. There are three targets that they have identified for this particular drilling program, which you can see on the map. They are:

1) San Francisco Centro
2) San Francisco Este
3) El Cantilito Target

As you can see by the chart, there is a “Potential Intersect Target” located between these areas. The company believes that there is a very strong vein going from the El Cantilito target to the San Francisco targets and that right in the middle, is where they believe most of the gold mineralization is held. This is what they consider to be the “Potential Intersect Target.”

So the company has drilled a total of 19 holes on the Guazaparez property and today they are announcing the drilling results from holes 4-17 and they are waiting for the results from holes 18 and 19.

There is something that everyone needs to understand and take note of. 13 out of the 17 holes that have been drilled on the Guazaparez property, came out with very positive results. To have that type of success on three different structures, is extremely uncommon in the industry. This is very positive for this property.

All drill holes in the San Francisco Centro and El Cantilito intersected long intervals of gold and silver mineralization.

Mr. Ayub said that drill hole #16 produced some of the highest mineralization he has ever seen in his career. To be exact, here is what came from this hole:

GU-16 > 18.92 m @ 4.33 g/t Au Eq. including 7.74 meters with 9.10 g/t Au Eq.

The mineralization systems encountered at the Guazapares project are essentially of two types: a silver-dominated system at San Francisco Este, San Francisco Centro, and El Cantilito, which is exhibiting localized areas of high-grade gold mineralization.

They now know the chances of a discovery happening at Guazaparez are extremely high, but they just don’t know how big the discovery could actually be. This will not be known until they start drilling closer to the intersect target as shown on the map.

They are anxiously anticipating the results from drill hole #19, as they believe this hole will even beat hole #16, since it is closer to the intersect target, which is where they believe the highest mineralization is.

What they plan on doing, is to begin drilling closer to the intersect target starting from El Cantilito going NE and also coming down further from San Francisco Este and Centro going SW.

Both Mr. Knight and Mr. Ayub believe that as they get closer to the intersect target, that that is where they feel their best chance is of having a major discovery.

This again will take some time, but as you can see by the results put out today, this company is for real and it seems to me that they are on the verge of finding something very big.

Now we just sit back and let the company do what they have been doing and hope for the best.
